Delhi capitals 131 for 4 (Jonassen 61*, Shafali 44, Gautam 2-26) Beat Gujarat giants 127 for 9 (Fulmali 40*, Dottin 26, Kapp 2-17, Pandey 2-18, Sutherland 2-20) for six WICKETS
Kapp, Pandey leaves helpless giants
As he often does, Kapp got the ball to separate from the batters on the right constantly. Harleen deol, opening the tickets, cut one of those deliveries, but the edge fell just below a cut.
Deol could not enjoy his fate for a long time, since Kapp induced another external advantage in his next. This time, the ball was comfortably taken to Sarah Bryce’s gloves. Phoebe Litchfield, who had replaced Laura Wolvaardt in the XI, lasted only three balls; Kapp caught his LBW for a duck.
Kapp’s double Wickt maiden left GG in 16 for 2 after four overs. In the next, Pandey got worse with the rear wickts in consecutive deliveries. Beth Mooney had begun Pandey’s crunch through the covers by four. Pandey changed around the Wickt, and found an immediate success when Mooney’s truck shot landed in Niki Prasad’s hands on the long leg.
For the hat-trick ball, Pandey fell short again. She beat Deandra Dottin in the pull and hit her in the helmet. After a brain shock check, endow with the flat lap of the next ball on the ground for four. In the next, he repeated the shot against Kapp for the same result. These limits lent the score of a certain respectability since GG finished the PowerPlay by 31 for 4.
Fulmali leads the fight
In the ninth finished, Titas Sadhu punished Ashleight Gardner, GG’s captain and his batter in shape, for 3 of 9 balls. Two overs later, Annabel Sutherland ended Dottin’s counterattack. But Fulmali, playing his first game of the season, led the fight. In 15, he pulled Minnu Mann on the deep square leg during the first six of the entries. Together with Tanuja Kanwar, he added 51 in 40 balls for the seventh Wickt and directed the side of 120.

Jonasen, Shafali kills the game
The DC movement to send Jonasen to number 3 was worth it, especially with a square limit that is significantly shorter than the other: 51 meters compared to 63 meters. When the shortest limit was on the side of Jonasen’s leg, he scored 23 eight ball races in that region, including his six. She was aggressive against each bowling player. His lowest attack rate was against Gautam, whom he scored 15 of nine in 166.66.
Shafali preferred the leg side, regardless of which side was the shortest limit. Of their 44 races of 27 balls, 32 came on the side of the leg. When Gardner caught his LBW in the ninth place, DC had reached 88.
Jonasen raised his fifty -ball wpl of 26 balls. Although DC lost Jemimah Rodrigues and Sutherland at a low price, his victory was never in doubt.
