Will Levis injury update: Latest on Titans’ QB situation ahead of Week 9 matchup against Patriots
The Tennessee Titans will be without their inaugural quarterback for at least another speed.

According to NFL Media, Will Levis is expected to sit out the team’s Generation 9 game against the Fresh England Patriots, and Mason Rudolph will return to start in his place. Levis has ignored each and every one of Tennessee’s last two games with a shake of the shoulder. The shoulder is progressing, according to Ian Rapoport, but it is not in a position to progress yet.

Levis has had a lot of problems when it hit the farmland this season. He has completed 66.4% of his passes, but with a maximum average of 5.6 yards per attempt. He has thrown five touchdowns and seven interceptions, including more than one pick-six. Rudolph has started twice and played in a third game, finishing 58.9% of his passes, averaging 6.0 yards per attempt and throwing 2 touchdowns and three interceptions.

The Patriots haven’t been as good on the move this season as they have been in previous years, allowing 10 points beyond intercepting three opposing passes. They have struggled mightily to get power on opposing quarterbacks, doing so on just 29.3% of move attempts, and according to Tru Media, they have given up an atypical selection of explosive plays.

Tennessee, however, has been extremely useless in the passing game, regardless of which QB has been under center, and that’s probably expected to continue against the Pats.
