According to reports, Warner Bros. games have canceled an unnoticed expansion for the legacy of Hogwarts that will be launched at the end of this year.
This is according to Bloomberg, and the sources tell him the publication that the paid DLC and a definitive edition of the game were discarded “as part of the current restructuring.”
The sources told Bloomberg that the project was supposedly canceled since the content “was not substantial enough to justify the price that is being considered.”
Warner Bros. declined to comment to Bloomberg on the expansion reported.
Insider gaming reported that the DLC was supposedly planned to have between ten and 15 hours of new missions and activities.
In a letter to shareholders after their most recent financial results, Warner Bros. described 2024 as a “disappointing year” for their game segment. Revenue for Warner Bros. Games fell 29% year -on -year during their fourth quarter.
Before its Q4 report, it implemented a restructuring plan that resulted in the closure of three studies: Productions of Monolith, Player First Games and Warner Bros. San Diego. Monolith’s next Wonder Wonder project was canceled as a result.
