Warhammer 40K: Longitude Marine 2 will have an animated sequel in Amazon’s intact Unrevealed Stage line

Warhammer 40K: Long Marine 2 has only been out for a couple of months, but there is already a sequel on the horizon, although not in the way one might currently think. Games Workshop has shown that Warhammer 40K’s appearance in Amazon’s latest Unrevealed Stage line will remove the feel of an animated sequel to Long Marine 2.

Unrevealed Stage, in case you’re unfamiliar, is an intact 15-episode animated anthology line from the creators of Netflix’s Love, Dying & Robots, with each and every episode featuring “original stories set in the worlds of some of the most beloved video games. These video games come with Armored Core, Brotherly love, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Guy, Pristine International: Aeternum, Pac-Guy, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Match, numerous PlayStation Studios. video games and, after all, Warhammer 40K.

We already knew all that, but in a post on the Warhammer Crowd website (thanks IGN), Games Workshop has now shared more about the franchise’s next installment Unrevealed Stage. For starters, it will be directed by Tim Miller, with Dave Wilson (responsible for Warhammer 40K: First Light’s iconic Warhammer intro film) serving as executive producer and supervising director.

As for the details, Video Games Workshop has shown (as some savvy enthusiasts had already speculated after the release of the Unrevealed Stage trailer) that the episode is indeed a sequel to today’s acclaimed Warhammer 40K shooter, Longitude Marine 2, and follows the belief of sport “as a… secret level.” Plus, Clive Standen is on the way, once again voicing Long Marine protagonist Captain Demetrian Titus.

And that’s all we all know at this point. On the other hand, Games Workshop notes that an intact trailer for the Unrevealed Stage line, which probably looks a bit more like that action-packed Long Marine 2 sequel, is on the way later in its recent post at Pristine York Comedian Con, and that enthusiasts “won’t.” “I’ll have to wait too long to see it.” As for the line itself, it’s looking forward to ending on High Video starting December 10th.
