With Cooper Kupp probably starting, the Los Angeles Rams are signing another score whose roll will probably increase in 2025. The team has agreed terms with the Tutu Atwell receiver in a one -year contract and $ 10 million that is fully guaranteed, according to ESPN.

A second round of 2021 from Louisville, Atwell, who was scheduled to enter the free agency before reaching an agreement with Los Angeles, caught 42 passes for a maximum of 562 yards of his career last season. He made five openings while playing in each of the 17 regular seasonal games of the Rams. Atwell caught only a pass for 18 yards during the two Rams playoff games.

As a rookie, Atwell did not catch any pass and saw its end of season prematurely due to an injury. He began to have an impact in 2022, making four openings and caught 18 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown. Atwell also scored his first touchdown in race during the 2022 season.

The injuries to other teammates led to more game opportunities for Atwell in 2023. He responded by catching three touchdowns in his career while helping the RAMS to secure a position on the playoffs of the wild card.

Player's head player

With only 5-9 and 165 pounds, there were questions about how Atwell would remain physically at the next level when he left the university, questions that were exacerbated after suffering an injury in the season in 2021. But since that injury, the Atwell has been largely healthy and has become a positive taxpayer to the crime of the Rams. Rams hope it will continue to be the case in 2025.
