Tottenham: Ange Postecoglou the “Correct Man,” says Kulusevski before the European League game

The end of Tottenham, they leave Kulusevski, says that manager Ange Posttecoglou retains the support of the players and is the “right man” for the club.

Kulusevski, 24, has been the excellent artist of the Spurs this season, scoring nine times in 36 appearances.

The Australian Chief Postecoglou has been pressed after a bad series of results, with the Spurs 15 in the Premier League.

He said after a 2-1 defeat against Leicester City on Sunday that he was not sure of his future in the club.

But the former Celtic boss has presented the case that Tottenham could end the season with “something special” since they remain in three Cup competitions: the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the Europa League.

“I agree with him,” Kulusevski said. “I think we can do great things in these last four months.”

When asked why he considers Postecoglou the man for work, Kulusevski said: “Because we had games in which we showed perfect football and football, not many teams can play in the world.

“We play beautiful against [Manchester] United, [Manchester] City outside 4-0 and we are behind him. “

Tottenham was 3-0 winners in Old Trafford against Manchester United in September, and followed that league victory with a 4-3 victory over the Red Devils in the EFL Cup in December.

Kulusevski considers such days still relevant to postecoglou as he said: “I have to fight for him because I also believe in that football. He is the right man.”

The Spurs have won only one of their last 11 games of the Premier League, leaving them eight points above the descent zone.

They face the Swedish side if Elfsborg in his last match of the Europa League group on Thursday, when a victory would guarantee a place in the qualifying stages.
