Timberwolves of the Wizards Top Shortwolves, end of 16 games

Minneapolis-kuzma scored 31 points of the season and the Washington Wizards beat the Minnesota Timberwolves of Hand Short 105-103 on Saturday night to end a perdemer streak of 16 games.

Jordan Poole scored 19 points, Bilal Coully had 14 and Jonas Valanciunas added 13 points and 10 rebounds to help Washington win for the seventh time this season.

It was only the second victory of the Wizards season, since they finished a streak without 21 games that was tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers (26) and Washington (25) during the majority in a season since 2010-11.

The 16 -games losing streak was tied for longer in the history of the magicians.

Washington, who led for seven with less than four minutes to play, turned the ball with 11 seconds that clung to a two -point advantage. But an attempt of Nickeil Alexander-Walker points in Minnesota extended with three remaining seconds. Corey Kispert grabbed the rebound and the Wizards finished a 21 -game slide.

Jayden McDaniels led Minnesota with 23 points and 12 rebounds, his first race game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. Rudy Gobert had 16 points and 16 rebounds, but the winning streak of five Minnesota games finished.

Minnesota was playing without two headlines. The All-Star Anthony Edwards sat with a disease and Julius Randle lost his first game with an injury to the groin, something that coach Chris Finch said he would keep him out “more than a few days.” Naz Reid, who first began this season, went to the beginning of the third quarter with a right finger sprain.
