Sony has announced that it is almost the time to say goodbye to those PS5 issues that launched in the 30th anniversary of PlayStation last year. But the good news is that he has plans to recover them after a “fantastic response” of the players.
Sony launched a number of PS5 themes loaded with nostalgia last December, with images and sounds destined to evoke memories from different consoles. There was one for PlayStation 1, PS2, PS3 and PS4, in addition to a topic that celebrates the Big Thre-Oh of the PlayStation brand.
The party, however, is almost over, and Sony now confirmed that all its limited time anniversary issues will cease to be available from Friday, January 31. By announcing the news on social networks, he thanked fans for the “fantastic response” to the issues.
In fact, the answer seems to have been good enough for Sony to have changed some mind regarding the temporal nature of classical console themes. He also revealed that he will make the designs available again “in the coming months”, as soon as he finished “doing a job behind the scene” to bring them back.
Together with these retro themes, PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebrations also saw the launch of some limited edition PS5 inspired by PS1, a free version of Grand Tourism and a nostalgia thanks video. Eurogamer also put himself in the mood of celebration with our week of the theme of the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, which is worth sailing.
