The tension between Khawaja and Queensland is built ahead of Sheffield Shield final

There is a tension between the USMAN Khawaja testatador and Queensland’s Crick before the Sheffield Shield final next week, but it is likely to be named in an extended team for the final on Friday with a decision on whether or not to get ahead of the game starting next Wednesday.

Khawaja attended the five days of the Formula one Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne while the game continued in Adelaide, but published on social networks on Tuesday that he was rehabilitating a concern for the ischiotibial that he realized while making contributions winning parties of 127 and 33 not in the previous victory of Bulls over Tasmania. There is also a suggestion that he is driving an ankle problem that exploded during the Sri Lanka tour, although that did not prevent him from playing against Tasmania.

The General Manager of Crickt of Queensland, Joe Dawes, made strong comments on Wednesday, suggesting that Khawaja was not injured and insisted that Queensland’s medical staff had declared him available to the National Team.

“That is my understanding of cricket Australia staff.

“I leave our medical staff and there is no reason why I could not have played the last game. It is disappointing that I have not played a game for Queensland when he had the opportunity to do it. I have a lot of guys here that everyone wants

Khawaja was not the only contracted player of cricket Australia who did not play in the final round of the season. Nathan Lyon also attended the Australian Formula one Grand Prix with Khawaja and has not played since he returned from Sri Lanka due to the management of a hip problem. Steven Smith did not play the last round for Nueva Wales del Sur after returning from the Champions Trophy, but Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey played for Queensland and southern Australia, respectively.

All CA players and the state that goes to the IPL did not play in the final round of the shield, since all were given non -objection certificates to go to India before the tournament from Saturday.

Khawaja has already played 11 first -class games this summer, including seven tests, which means that he has already played more games and days than any Australian batter only with a domestic red ball would play in a summer of shield in total. The 38 -year -old has managed his schedule carefully in recent years, valuing rest on playing many consecutive games to remain mentally and physically fresh for his test commitments while trying to extend his career as long as possible.

This management plan has been supported by CA. One of Queensland Shield games was lost to cool off before the Border-Gavaskar trophy and the shield game against Western Australia was lost that began nine days after the Sri Lanka tour, where he scored a better 232 not in the first test.

However, it is likely that Khawaja has all April and May to rest after the final shield ends on March 30 before preparing for four tests in June and July, which include the WTC final and a three -test tour of the Caribbean. From then on, it will not have any international commitment until the ashes begin at the end of November.
