The Sims 4 finally adds the iconic thief of the series, and only took 11 years

If your Sims 4 nights have been lacking a certain criminal Frisson During the last 11 years, things are about to be much more exciting. More than a decade after its launch, the Sims 4 has finally added the iconic thief of the series as part of its last free update.

The thief was, of course, an imminent perpetual threat in the first three Sims games, threatening to slide in his fate at night, accompanied by a dramatic musical sting, to steal his value and steep values. Assuming that the police did not arrive there first.

Unfortunately for Late Night Thievery and Stripy Knitwear fans, the thieves did not make the cut when the Sims 4 was launched in 2014. But now, more than a decade of night peace will be destroyed when the series celebrates its 25th anniversary.

As detailed in EA’s announcement, the Sims 4 thief, now called Robin Banks, behaves similarly to his previous counterparts. She sneaked into the houses after nightfall when the residents are asleep, putting articles in her bag before escaping. However, his robbery spree can stop, if Sims calls the police before he flees at night.

The alarm of acquireable thieves has also returned, guaranteeing that the police arrive on time to make an arrest, and provide other safeguards if the Sims are useful enough to install them. An properly equipped alarm can, for example, crush a thief that passes, causing her to release her stolen products. In addition, bold Sims (and ideally tight) can take Robin in an individual fight.

EA says that it has added a total of 37 interactions led by players and 50 unique reactions related to the thief in the base game of the Sims 4 and 17 different packages. Depending on the expansions it possesses, dogs can chase thieves outside the house, werewolf can intimidate them to leave, spell pitchers can deter them with magic and servos can turn them off in their place. Scientists, meanwhile, can immobilize them with a freezing ray, and vampires could have a nightly snack.

If all that sounds a bit, EA points out the thieves’ visits will be rare by default. However, those who wish to increase the frequency of thefts can activate the challenge of the Havoc’s lot of the robberies, which causes thieves to appear more frequently and potentially alarms.

The thief is now available as part of the last free update of the SIMS 4. base game. This paves the way for its next business and hobbies expansion package, which allows players to execute everything from a pet coffee to a Tattoo room, which is launched next Thursday, March 6.

All this occurs when the SIMS series celebrates its anniversary of the fourth century with a variety of events, including remassers (somewhat scobbled) of the Sims and the Sims 2.
