If the expectations are the root of frustration, then anyone who waited for the NBA All-Star Game, or all weekend for the weekend, to be any other complete and total waste of all deserves to be frustrated.
You should have known. The event stinks. Nobody wants to have anything to do with that. Players really don’t want to play. Fans really don’t want to see. I can assure you that people like me, who somehow hit Powerball’s profession that they are paid to see basketball, do not want to talk or write about that.
I mean, seriously, the “presentation” of Sunday’s star game worked for almost three hours and had about 30 minutes of real basketball. Despite the action on the court, with some low-effort explosions, it was as horrible as we have come to wait for all-Star basketball. And yet, all other parts of the night were so painfully bad that we all really wanted further All-Star Basketball.
Kevin Hart? I have been wondering for years how this man, who came out on Sunday as Funny’s living antithesis, became so popular. But now I am much more curious about the people responsible for deciding that it was a good idea that a Crowingworthy comic serves as a “master of ceremonies on the court.”
The great irony here is that an event that is defined by the little interest that these incredibly talented superstars have to really try in their trade was to be issued by a guy who only knows how to try. too much hard on yours.
All these three hours were difficult to see. It makes you ask you, who is the NBA stars game? I know the answer is money. Sponsors are sponsors and television offers are television offers, but God is a bad product.
