The last season 2 of us, the long -awaited season 2 finally has a start date

Almost two years after the acclaimed first season of the live action of HBO, the last adaptation of the United States, came to an end, its long -awaited second season finally has a release date, with the episode one ready in the states United on Sunday, April 13.

The second season of the last of us collects about five years after the events of the first season, and at least partially cover the second Naughty Dog game. The Showrunner Craig Mazin previously confirmed that the team would need more than one season to cover the narrative of the last part of part 2.

“The story we are telling is much bigger than the history of the first season,” Mazin explained at that time. “It is happening much more, it is much more difficult to produce, but we want each episode to feel like its own box office to be honest.”

Here is a brief look of the last season of the last of us.

The second season of The Last of Us is scheduled to cover seven episodes, including one that has a “quite large” length, and will mark the beginning of a new cast of characters along with the favorites that return. Joel and Ellie are inevitably back (once again interpreted by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey) and this time they will join this time Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Young Mazino as Jesse and the legendary Catherine O’Hara in an indecritted invited role.

The last season of us, the second part of an expected four -seasons, is broadcast on HBO Max in the United States as of April 13. Nothing is still known about international air dates, but the ongoing association of Sky Atlantic with HBO suggests that it will continue to be the house of the series in the United Kingdom, possibly again transmitting simultaneously with the US like to remain unconscious by social networks.

The first season of the last of us was an applied success for HBO, obtaining an important critical acclamation and averaging more than 32 million viewers an episode in the United States. And with eight Emmy nominations in his belt, including an outstanding guest actor Gong for Nick Offerman in the role of Bill, expectations are invariably high for the second season.
