The ‘incredible’ season of Nottingham Forest continues as the club reaches the first semifinal of the FA Cup in 34 years

This was the first game for both parties after an international break and it seemed that the additional miles toured by the players recently affected.

Brighton players traveled a total of 86,208 miles during the break, while Forest players combined for a total of 83,054 miles.

In a cautious match, the players seemed fatigued with both disorderly teams in possession and without quality in the last third.

“Football needs to address this. I know that people will say that players are paid a fortune, yes, they do it,” said former England striker, Gary Lineker.

“But it is not just about the well -being of the players, but the public who pays will suffer, since you are not going to get players at their best.”

When the initial alignments were announced before the start, there were question signs about Nuno’s decision to rest the Callum Hudson -odoi and Anthony Elanga attackers, especially with the top scorer Chris Wood lacking injury.

It almost seemed that the Chief of the Forest had an eye at the Premier League meeting on Tuesday against Manchester United, an opportunity for Forest to solidify his place among the top four and increase his commitment to the football of the Champions League next season.

Hudson-odoi and Elanga arrived just after the brand of the hour, and although they had problems having an impact during the game, the first annulled the second kick of the forest.

“You have to give Nuno a loan,” said former Manchester United Wayne Rooney forward.

“We said before the game, we thought he made a mistake resting to some players, but when they pass, you have to give them credit.”
