Bungie has partnered with Lucasfilm Games to bring Equipment and Accessories with Star Wars theme to Destiny 2.
It will include three new armor ornaments (one for each kind of Guardian) “each inspired by the soldiers of the galactic empire”, in addition to a series of accessories, emotions and finalists inspired by Star Wars.
The Star Wars content will be launched on February 4 together with Destiny 2: Heresy, the third episode of the game and the final epilogue of the Light and Darkness saga.
The collaboration of Star Wars was announced on Tuesday during a live broadcast that can be seen again. It offered a detailed look of what is in the store for heresy players, which will have the return of Dreadnaught and a new activity called Nether.
“With a combination of patrol patrols, multiple bubbles full of challenging enemies, each who culminate in heroic boss fights, and all in the haunted halls of a metamorphosed dreadnaught, the lower activity will find guardians who besieged the extensive ship to deactivate their Armament and avoid their weapons and prevent corruption from propagating, ”said Brian Ekberg, Bungie editorial leader.
“With the lessons learned from the previous experiments of Rogue-Lite in Destiny 2, such as the coil of the season of desire and the deep dives of The Deep season, Guardians can also expect a constantly varied experience. For example, after completing a bubble, the level of power of enemies increases. In addition, the activity introduces a new turn into the combat formula in the form of blessings that directly affect the game. “
Bungie marked the tenth anniversary of the franchise last September by announcing that Destiny 2 will adopt a new launch model.
Instead of a large annual expansion, the study said it will aim to launch two medium expansions and four main updates of free content every year.
The new model will begin this summer of 2025 with the launch of the name of the name of the adventure driven by the “non -linear” characters.
