The Free Agent QB Aaron Rodgers visits Steelers, the sources say

Pittsburgh-Es “bring an MVP four times from the NFL to work day” in Pittsburgh.

Field Marshal Aaron Rodgers, a free agent for the first time in his career, spent about six hours on Friday visiting the Steelers in their practice installation, sources told Adam Schefter from ESPN. Rodgers met with the team coaches in what was described as a positive visit, with the two parties in agreement to keep in touch, the sources added.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette was the first to report the initial news of Rodgers’ visit.

Rodgers emerged as an option for Steelers almost two weeks ago during the league negotiation period before the official start of free agency. While Rodgers has offers of the Steelers and New York giants, it is also believed that Minnesota’s Vikings are in the mixture.

However, Minnesota is preparing to move forward with the first round of 2024 JJ McCarthy as her senior marshal, significantly reducing her chances of bringing Rodgers.

Rodgers was released by New York Jets on March 12.
