NetherRealm has released the first image of Omni-Man, a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1.
The character, originally from Invincible, the comic-book series recently adapted for Amazon Prime, was shown off in the reveal trailer, which was unveiled as part of New York Comic-Con.
JK Simmons provides the voice of Omni-Man. The character will be available as part of the Mortal Kombat Kombat Pack in November 2023. This bundle was given to Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition owners for free.
The remaining characters who will be included in the initial wave of DLC for Mortal Kombat are Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takashi Takeda.
Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, Ferra, and Khameleon are set to appear as Kameo combatants in the game.
Ed Boon, series co-creator and Mortal Kombat 1 creative director has hinted that horror legend Ghostface would make an appearance in Mortal Kombat.
Mortal Kombat 1 was published on September 19 to widespread critical acclaim, with a Metacritic score of 84 on consoles and 83 on PC.
