The English translation of the Omega 6 manga now has a release date.
Omega 6 is the latest creation of Takaya Imamura, the former Nintendo artist better known for creating characters for games such as F-Zero and Star Fox.
The English version of The Manga, which was originally launched in France, will have 216 pages and will be launched in the United States by Dark Horse Comics on October 21 at a price of $ 14.99.
The video game inspired by the manga, Omega 6: The Triangle Stars, was launched in Japan last year, but the English version will change and PC on February 28.
Junji Seki, director of the game and president of the Happymeal game development study, says that players who have completed the game for when the manga will not have to worry about simply reading the same story again.
“The video game version is a totally different story, set in the same world as the Omega 6 comic, full of meetings and battles with drama infusion with the 100 most unique foreigners created by Imamura-San,” he explained.
“I hope you enjoy the adventures of Thunder and Kyla in the game, as well as in the comic; you can even discover that the characters appear in both.”
In a separate statement, Imamura said he was happy that his manga saw the English public for the first time.
“I sincerely hope that my manga and my games can be enjoyed by people, regardless of where they live, and I would make me very happy if my work offers an exciting and exciting experience,” he said.
In an interview with VGC in 2023, Imamura revealed that he worked at the Omega 6 manga while also taught as a university professor after Nintendo left.
“When I finally retired, a French game researcher communicated to ask about my plans, and I said I had begun to create a manga,” he recalled. “I finished it within a year, and he really wanted to help me publish it in France. Things moved very well after that.
“At the same time, I taught at the University of International Professional Technology of Osaka. I secretly created Omega 6 during my rest time in the research room! University teachers have their own research room, so no one will discover it. ”
