Hello person of exceptional musical taste; As you already know, assuming you read the headline first and didn’t fall headlong into this story by accident, the sublime Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree soundtrack is now officially available on all major music streaming platforms, making it which means you’ll be able to romp around to Divine Beat Dancing Lion’s boss battle music (costume not required) until your limbs start bleeding.
Bandai Namco’s newly released Shadow of the Erdtree digital OST has a total of 36 tracks (compared to the 67 tracks found in the base game) and features contributions from long-time From Software collaborators Tsukasa Saitoh, Shoi Miyazawa, Yuka Kitamura, Yoshimi Kudo, as Tai. Tomisawa, alongside series newcomer Soma Tanizaki.
And as you already know, being a person of exceptional musical taste, the Shadow of the Erdtree soundtrack is a treatwith some of the best melodies in the entire game. Who can forget the hip-swinging fury of the Dancing Lion of the Divine Beast, or the thrilling majesty of the Knight of the Twin Moon, or the sad dignity of the Putrescent Knight? Or how about the cosmic splendor of The Mother of Fingers, the dreary Village of the Shamans, or even the heartbreaking terror of the Abyssal Forest? Oh, and the absolutely gorgeous Santa Trina theme, which is fabulous for all sorts of reasons, but especially this one.
It’s incredible, and everything is now officially available, in most cases to stream via subscription or purchase, on Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Line Music, AWA, Mora and Recochoku. For some reason, the full Shadow of the Erdtree soundtrack is not currently listed on Apple Music or iTunes, but it is is a truncated variant floating around in Apple’s service.
Sadly, there’s no new behind-the-scenes video to accompany this latest soundtrack release, but at least we can still enjoy this performance of The Twin Moon Knight shared a couple of months ago, you know, just to temporarily satisfy those ears of exceptional taste.
