Team Ninja says that it is investigating reports that the recently published PC version of Rise of the Ronin has a problem with Save Data.
Rise of the Ronin was launched in Steam on March 11, but since then numerous players in the game‘s steam discussion forums have reported that their saving data has been disappearing, which forces them to start again.
“I’ve been playing for a few hours and the next day disappeared magically,” said One Thread author. Other players responded by saying that the same had happened to them, and some said they lost more than 8 hours of progress.
Similar threads in the forum include an answer that says they had lost 5 hours, and another player who claims to have “lost 10 to 15 hours of progress.”
Team Ninja has now published a message from its official X account, saying: “We are currently investigating the problems of saving information for the increase in Ronin Steam edition.”
The publication links a support message that offers the players possible solutions to the problem, including the search for save data score, following additional steps when saving in Steam Cloud or off the exchange of files for Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox.
“We continue to investigate these problems together with others,” the study added. “We will make sure to inform as soon as there are developments. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may have experienced. ”
The PC version of Rise of the Ronin includes several PC features, which include support for ultra wide monitors, 8K resolution, 120 fps, 3D audio and customizable keyboard and mouse settings.
It is also exclusive to the Steam version is Directx 12 Ultimate Support, Ray Tracing and Support for AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution and Nvidia DLSS.
The PC version currently has a metacritical score of 74, and most critics point out that the game has performance problems.
