The Superstar of Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry, underwent a magnetic resonance that confirmed that the shipowner suffered a pelvic contusion and without structural damage, the team announced on Friday.
Curry will miss the start of the road trip of six games of the Warriors, which begins in Atlanta on Saturday when he receives treatment in the next few days. There is the optimism that Curry will feel better with treatment in the next few days. It will be reasvaluted on Monday.
Curry left the victory of the Warriors 117-114 over the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night with 3:24 remaining in the third quarter. Curry drove in the painting and crashed with a Raptor Player before taking a hard spill. He twisted from pain on the floor before returning to the locker room.
The Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game that Curry was receiving a magnetic resonance.
“He thought he could return” to the game, Kerr told journalists after the victory. “We simply decide not to risk anything. So I hope it’s not bad.”
Draymond Green said it was a “terrifying moment” when Curry fell.
“He hit that land with force,” Green told reporters after the Warriors victory. “You could hear. It was crazy. Obviously a very scary moment for us, for him. I hope it’s good.”
Curry ended with 17 points in 25 minutes.
