Sporty Group has opened a new game development center in the United Kingdom led by the former CEO and creative director of Tower Studios, Jon Hare.
I will lead a team of 17 employees who have been working in the soccer sociable franchise, which was acquired by sports games last July.
Currently, the team is developing a free football title that will be launched at the end of this year.
“Working together with Sporty Group to launch this new study is an exciting movement that ensures our future as a first level developer and sports games editor with a truly global attraction,” Hare said. “We have gathered this with a capable and driven team and we are still looking for new additions.”
He continued: “Working with such a talented group of related ideas developers that, like me, commit to raising the bar for sports games, is a dream come true and we hope to share more details of our first titles very soon.”
The Sports Vice President of Commercial Development, Marketing and Media Greg Parsons added: “Jon and this team have a proven history of creating titles acclaimed by criticism with the universal attraction.
