The Campal Marshal of the University of Colorado, Shedeur Sanders, considered one of the two best players in the position available in the April NFL draft, will not work at the Combine Scouting in Indianapolis this week, confirmed the sources to ESPN.
Although Sanders will not work at Lucas Oil Stadium, he will meet with teams in Indianapolis, the sources said. Quarterbacks are scheduled to reach the combination on Tuesday, which is formally opened on Monday. His field workouts are scheduled for Saturday.
It is not known if Sanders will also go through the prospects of medical exams that are scheduled to do each year in the harvester.
Sanders is expected to throw the campus next month on the professional day of Colorado. Often, some of the main perspectives in each position choose not to exercise in the harvester, instead of waiting for the most familiar campus configuration.
The Campo de los Chicago Bears Marshal, Caleb Williams, who was the number 1 team last April, did not launch in the combination of 2024. Jayden Daniels also did not win the NFL’s rookie offensive prize with the NFL year with the Washington commanders the Last season, nor the Field Marshal of the New England Patriots, Drake Maye.
Williams, Daniels and Maye were selected 1-2-3, since a record six quarterbacks were selected in the first round of the draft. In an appearance this month in “Get Up” of ESPN, the coach of Colorado, Deion Sanders, the father of Shedeur, made the case that his son was the best choice of this year.
Deion Sanders said his son had seven different offensive coordinators in four years combined in Jackson State and Colorado and continued to act at a high level.
In the last great Board of the ESPN Draft Mel Kiper Jr. analyst, Shedeur Sanders is the number 4 prospect in general and the field marshal number 1, just ahead of Cam Ward de Miami. Sanders and Ward have trained together in the Dallas area with Campo de Campo Darrell Colbert coach from the end of the season.
Sanders led the Nation with a 74% completion rate for buffaloes in 2024. He also led Big 12 in aerial yards (4,134), TouchDowns (37), air yards per game (318.0), finishes (353) and attempts (477).
Its 71.8% completion rate in its two seasons in Colorado is an FBS record.
NFL Network was the first to report that Sanders would not work in the harvester.
