Source: Brian Belichick, younger son of Bill, will not return to the patriots

Foxborough, Massachusetts. Brian Belichick, who spent the last five seasons as insurance coach of the New England patriots, will not return to the team in 2025, according to a source of the League.

Belichick, the youngest son of the former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, grew a fan fan and spent the last nine years in the staff, first as a personnel assistant (2016), then training assistant (2017-19), before Be elevated to security coach in 2020.

“It simply brings a different level of how the game sees, how the game thinks,” said Jabrill Peppers security in 2024. “It keeps us at a very high standard and has trained many great DBS there.”

The Patriots coaching staff is in transition for the second consecutive year. The new chief coach Mike Vratabel replaced Jerod Mayo after a 4-13 season.

Vratabel hired the former coach of the defensive line of the Titans and Lions, Terrell Williams, as its defensive coordinator. There was a matter of whether Vrababe would consider retaining Belichick and the coach of the corner Mike Pellegrino to match Williams, but none will return, with a source that says Tuesday that Pellegrino will not return either.

Bill Belichick enters his first season as a chief coach at the University of North Carolina, where his eldest son, Steve, will serve as an assistant coach. Bill Belichick was out of football in 2024, while Steve Belichick served as a defensive coordinator at Washington University last season.

An issue among the new defensive attendees is the ties with Vrababel of his mandate as coach in chief of the Titans (2018-23), with Clinton McMillan and Zak Kuhr will join the staff, according to Fuentes.

Other parts of Vrababe’s staff are also being placed, with former Bills and Jaguars chief coach, Doug Marrone, and the former interim coach of the Bears, Thomas Brown, among the key hiring in the offensive to work under coordinator Josh McDaniels, according to the sources.

Vratabel also retained the special team coordinator Jeremy Springer and the assistant of the best special teams, Tom Quinn.
