Kyle Juszczyk of Nine Pro Bowl will return to the San Francisco 49ers in a two -year contract and $ 8 million, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN on Saturday.
It had been a brief division, since the 49ers threw Juszczyk on Tuesday before bringing him back to the fold. Juszczyk, 33, and the 49ers had separated almost the last season before they accepted a salary cut.
A source said Juszczyk took less than the Pittsburgh Steelers were offering to return to San Francisco.
A fans’s team and favorite, the return of Juszczyk was held in Instagram’s stories by the Christian McCaffrey corridor and the closed wing George Kittle.
Juszczyk was one of the first free agents whom the 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, and general manager John Lynch signed after taking charge in 2017.
He has been appointed for the Pro Bowl after each of his eight seasons in San Francisco, and was the first All-Pro team in 2023 and the second team all-re-team in 2024. He has run for 212 yards and five touchdowns in 60 hauls and caught 184 passes for 1,895 yards and 13 scores in his time with the team.
A fourth round of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 Draft, Juszczyk has 378 receptions for 2,664 yards and 18 touchdowns in his career. It has rushed for 237 yards and six touchdowns.
