Sony has associated with the Raylo technological lease service to offer a rental for the PlayStation 5 hardware in the United Kingdom through its Flex program.
Customers will have the ability to lease PS5 consoles and other accessories at no initial cost with a flexible monthly bearing plan that can be canceled at any time or an established period.
The flexible monthly rolling plan is the most expensive, with rent prices that decrease with the lease options of 12, 24 and 36 months.
Hardware available for rent includes:
- PS5 digital edition with a controller (From £ 10.99)
- PS5 digital edition with two controllers (From £ 13.49)
- PS5 Slim (From £ 11.99)
- Ps5 pro (From £ 18.95)
- PS Portal (From £ 6.49)
- PS VR2 (From £ 18.49)
- Dualsense Wireless Controller Edge (From £ 7.99)

On their support page, Sony clarified that, as these are rentals, customers do not have the console.
“You have the option to return, update or you can have the option to buy the device at the end of your lease, subject to Raylo’s discretion and prices at that time,” he says.
Raylo rented devices have a life guarantee, so if the hardware fails or is damaged, it can be “repaired and replaced at no additional cost.”
