Sonic Rumble: the Sonic game of 32 Sega players has been delayed to spring

Sega has confirmed that his next free game Sonic Rumble has been delayed until this spring.

The multiplayer party game, which sees up to 32 players who take control of the toys versions of the sound characters, was originally revealed in May for iOS and Android before a PC version was also confirmed.

The game was launched softly last year and is currently available in ‘pre-launch’ in 44 countries, but Sega had previously said that it would eventually get a global launch anywhere else (including the United Kingdom and the United States) in the winter .

However, the company has confirmed that the global launch for Sonic Rumble will come this spring, along with an update of version 1.2.0 that includes new modes and characteristics.

The new update will include a quick rumble mode for short -round games, a new rival range mode where players can win rewards classifying and a feature of the teams where players can form their own groups.

Certain characters will also get specific skills, in an attempt to differentiate them. Amy Rose, for example, you can use your Piko Piko hammer during the game.

“We would like to extend a great thanks to our Sonic players and fans for their patience when waiting for the global launch of Sonic Rumble,” Sega said in a statement, recognizing the delay. “The team undertakes to offer a memorable experience for Sonic fans with even newer game mechanics, new features and more exciting content than waiting.”

Last year, the chief of the Sonic team, Takashi Iizuka, confirmed that Sonic Rumble will not have any play or game mechanics to win, because they are not popular in the West.

“In Japanese and Asian markets, it is common to have to spend tens of thousands of yen [in a game] Until you draw a weird character and finally you can move on, ”Iizuka explained.

“But this is not the case in the global market, especially for an action game like Sonic Rumble, where players should enjoy the game on equal terms.

On the other hand, the game will have a season pass structure, which will revolve mainly around skins and characters of characters, as well as a daily update ring store where players can exchange rings (won through a game or purchased with real money) for cosmetic items.
