RANJI 2024-25-YASASVI JAISWAL Trophy discarded the semifinal against Vidarbha

Yashavi Jaiswal has been discarded from the Mumbai Ranji Trophy Trophy game against Vidarbha, starting Monday in Nagpur, after injuring the right ankle during training this weekend.
Jaiswal, who was originally in the Champions Trophy 2025 team in India, was left out as a late change, with the team’s management by opting for Varun Chakaravarthy. He was appointed as a reserve that is not for sale, but now he is expected to return home.

Mumbai will not appoint a replacement for Jaiswal for the semifinal party given the resources they already have, including Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Shardul Thakur. Outside these, Dube is also appointed as a non -sale reserve on the side of the Champions Trophy of India, and will travel to Dubai, if necessary.

A permanent feature on the side of the Indian test, Jaiswal recently made his debut in Odi against England in the first ODI in Nagpur earlier this month instead of Virat Kohli, who had lost the game due to a question of knee. Jaiswal scored 15 in that game.
Jaiswal has played only one game in the 2024-25 season of the Ranji trophy, a group element against Jammu and Kashmira, where he achieved 4 and 26 in both tickets, with Mumbai down by five wickts.
Mumbai defenders have not had the easiest walks in the Ranji trophy this season. They ruled out the quarterfinals, where they were once again at a point of discomfort against Haryana, before the lower order rescued them once again in the first entries.
Mumbai’s semifinal against Vidarbha will be a repetition of the clash of last year’s title. Vidarbha is in excellent form, having obtained direct victories in seven of his eight games this season of Ranji. They are entering the game after having defeated Tamil Nadu by 198 races in the quarterfinals.

Ajinkya Rahane (Capt), Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raguvanshi, Amogh Bhatkal, Suryakumar Yadav, Siddhesh Lad, Shivam Dube, Akash Anand (WK), Hardik Tamore (WK), Suryansh Shedge, Shardul Thakur, Shams Mulani, Tanush Kotian, Mohit, Mohit, Mohit Mohit), Mohi, Sylvester d’A souza, Royston Dias, Atharva Ankolekar, Harsh Tanna
