Los Angeles – The open receptor of the Rams, Puka Nacua, wants to retire at age 30, “Join The Lobby” told the podcast.
“I know I want to retire at the age of 30,” Nacua said. “I am 23 years old at this time, I go to the year 3, it would not even be 10 years. It would be perhaps seven or eight. I think of Aaron Donald, going to the top, I think it would be very great.”
Donald, the former defensive Tackle of the Rams, retired in March 2024 after 10 seasons and is a future member of the Hall of Fame. A defensive player three times of the year and a Super Bowl champion, Donald said at the time of his retirement that his NFL career felt “complete.”
Nacua, who has five brothers, also said he hopes to have “a great family”, saying: “I want to be part of their lives and be as active as possible with them.”
“Injuries are something you can’t control [as] Part of the game, so you never know, “said Nacua.” With luck, the rest of the race can become healthy, but undergoes shoulder surgery, it undergoes knee surgery, it has an ankle. By the time my children could be 18, I could barely walk if you play and hold all the injuries and things like that, but I want to retire early. “
During the 2023 season, Nacua established NFL records for the most receptors of a rookie. Last season, Nacua led the Rams with 79 trapped for 990 yards and three touchdowns. He played in 11 regular seasonal games, losing five due to a knee injury and at the end of the season to rest.
