“It’s definitely scary, I think it hurt more because it was the same ankle I sprained last week.”
Mahomes recovered quickly after throwing the touchdown pass and never missed a single play in the 30-24 overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Just as he didn’t miss a single moment in the Week 9 game, he also showed up all week to practice.
“Nothing has been lost,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. saying on Friday. “He’s done a good job.”
The three times Super Bowl MVP is listed on the injury report with an ankle injury and participated fully on Wednesday and Thursday as he prepares for the next matchup.
