Pocketpair, the developer behind the popular Palworld game, has announced that on February 28, 2025 it will be a special day that does not work for most employees. The decision follows a wave of “mysterious” notices of staff members who reported that they could feel bad and unable to work that day.
The announcement, made through the company’s official channels, humorously recognizes the influx of these unexpected license requests. In response, Pocketpair has chosen to grant a special license day for most employees. However, the company ensures that the ongoing development and updates for Palworld and Clcoopia will not be affected, emphasizing that scheduled updates are progressing as planned.
Pocketpair shared an official statement in his social networks, describing the details of the special license. The notice establishes that all employees, except those of certain departments, will receive on February 28. The company does not explicitly link this decision to any specific event, but the time coincides with the highly launch of Monster Hunter Wilds, the next Capcom action RPG.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be launched on February 28, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
