Ole Miss Pro Day: Jaxson Dart seems part of the First Round National Team, in addition to evaluating other main prospects

Jaxson Dart put the cherry on its proverbial ascent of the Draft boards ahead of the NFL 2025 draft with a spectacular presentation at the OLE Miss Pro Day.

On Friday, there were no launches outside the target, 65 attempts, of the future 22 -year -old Marshal. Thus it should be during a launching session in the air, even in front of a NFL personnel litany.

Dart’s path to become an alleged first round selection during this process prior to the Draft has been fascinating. Despite the incredible productivity as a full -time holder in Ole Miss in the SEC, Dart initially was not widely considered a first level perspective in this class. Encouragingly, Dart’s completion rate, the yards for attempt at the average, the total pass and the relationship of touchdown-intention constantly improved in their three seasons in the offensive of Lane Kiffin.

He felt as once again Draft analysts, and, what is more important, coaches and coordinators, joined the evaluation process, Dart was seen in a line similar to CAM Ward and Shedersur Sanders in this kind of quartback.

As pro-day training indicated, Dart is a soft athlete with a living arm. It is not the elite in any of the areas, but clearly verifies those vital boxes in the evaluations of the Modern Field Marshal. Its rapid launch was evident during its launch session and, of course, during its three seasons in Oxford. Dart is a very natural pitcher. There are no problems or wasted movement in its delivery. It is very campocorto. He has the talent of the arm necessary to pass football with precision from a variety of arm angles and when he is fleeing.

With less than a month to go before the draft, Dart is my QB4 behind Cam Ward, Jalen Milroe and Shedeur Sanders, and far ahead of my QB5s, Brady Cook of Missouri and Howard of the state of Ohio.

Other Professional Day

After two reasonably failed seasons in Texas A&M, along with a litany of others that were disappointed at the University Station during that period of time, Walter Nolen exploded in its last season at the SEC with a strong 2024 for the rebels. After 32 combined pressures created in those two years with the Aggies, it had 35 pressures last season in Ole Miss with a pressure rate of almost 9.7% -10% is normally the production mark at the elite level at the point of defensive appearance. He looks remarkably explosive in the field and, therefore, decided to continue with what the film shows about his game, instead of giving quantifiable references with complete training on the professional day. The probable Top 20 (more or less) selection only made the bench press, and its 27 repetitions would have been the fifth more among the defensive tacle in the harvester. He had 6 feet and 3 3/8 “and 300 pounds at OLE Miss Pro Day.

Princely Umanmielen is another jewel of a transfer that shone in Ole Miss in 2024. The chiseled edge corridor established a race with 55 pressures in 2024 for Kiffin’s Club after four seasons that constantly improve at the University of Florida. He decided to stand in his numbers of the harvester that led to a solid relative athletic score as a rock of 8.9, a scoring system for training prior to the draft per position on a 1-10 scale. Umanmielen could sneak into the back of Ronda 1, but feels more like a reasonably early selection of day 2.

The corner Trey Amos followed the example of Umanmielen and did not prove on the professional day after publishing a strong 8.72 ras in the harvester. It is also another transfer, and in reality time in a couple of other schools (Louisiana and Alabama) before completing his university career in Ole Miss. In 2024, the registered interceptions of almost 6-1, 195 pounds and 13 breaks of pass abroad for the rebellions.

The wide Harris only did a positional job also after running 4.54 with a vertical of 38.5 inches to almost 6-3 and 205 pounds in Indianapolis in early March. It was a great play waiting for Kiffin abroad and in the fades of the slot: Harris averaged almost 18 yards per reception in more than 100 catches in the last two seasons. It is projected somewhere on the day 2 or later on day 3.

Other applicants, who could listen to their names called at the end of April, of the OLE Miss program, include the brief but instinctive Chris ‘Pooh’ Paul supporter, who led the rebels in tacle with 88 last season, 11 of which were cocked by loss. He is super reliable in the film as a tacle despite his small frame for the position of the supporter out of the ball. The imposing border corridor Jared Ivey could be recruited only with its measurable and athletics. It has almost 6-6 and weighs 274 pounds in the harvester with a wingspan in the 85th percentile in the position. He already has a nfl caliber frame.

Finally, the defensive Tackle JJ Pegues could be the most convincing prospect of the class due to its background and versatility. According to the reports, the old wing of Auburn was introduced as an offensive weapon in the Ole Miss Pro Day with 6 feet 2 1/2 “and 309 pounds. Despite being reasonably new on the ball defensive side of the ball, there are impressive currents of his field in a film and even more dazzling with football when he turned on in the offensive.

In 2024, Pegues had 42 tacle, 3.5 captures and 14 cups for loss together with 69 yards in 21 carry with seven touchdowns.
