A new presentation for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller suggests that it will add a long data feature.
A presentation before the FCC has suggested that the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller will add a headphones. While a standard feature in virtually all the controllers launched in the last decade, Nintendo controllers have lost the function.
The presentation suggests that the controller will once again have the RFID and Bluetooth support. The presentation was made on March 31 and was described as a “game controller.”
The new controller is likely to also present the mysterious button C, which has been regularly presented in the daily teasing of Nintendo this week.
First, it is shown during the January 2 revelation video of Switch 2, Nintendo confirmed the presence of an additional button on the correct Joy-Con, but the button had all the brands eliminated in promotional material.
That was until Nintendo began publishing images of the console, complete with the C button, now with the “C” brand. The functionality of this button is still unknown.
All these teasing are before the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct, which will take place on April 2 at 6 AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM BST / 3PM CEST. Nintendo Switch 2 software, the price of the console and are much more expected in the event. Nintendo is also expected to shed light on some of the accessories that will be launched together with the console, potentially including the Pro controller.
Later this week, Nintendo Treehouse Live Nintendo Direct 2 Stream will begin at 7 am PT / 10 am Et / 3 PM BST on April 3, with a second at the same time on April 4. These transmissions will apparently have Nintendo employees who interpret the new system, and give their “hand impressions”, according to Nintendo.
