Nintendo clarifies Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Switch 2 Edition doesn’t include its paid DLC

Here is a small but remarkable detail that could have passed it in the middle of the chaos of the information that is spiral of the Switch 2 revelation last week: the SWITCH 2 Switch 2 edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will not include any of its DLC paid.

Perhaps that is not a big surprise since Nintendo has never stated otherwise, but it seems that the sale argument of the Switch 2 Edition, which has had an air of ‘final edition’ in this regard, could have led to some confusion.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is, to recapitulate, one of the six Special Switch 2 editions, basically, improved versions of the existing switch games, revealed during the Direct last week, with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Kirby and The Forgotten Prime 4: Beyond and Pokonmon Legends also receiving similar thickness.

Eurogamer gets practical with Mario Kart World.

Each Switch 2 edition includes photograms and resolutions speed potholes, along with a variety of specific game features, and is available to buy as an independent digital or physical launch. And that adds to the paid update route that Nintendo offers anyone who owns the original. It is complicated enough to be a bit confusing, and the fact that Nintendo is selling its Switch 2 editions at a premium price compared to the originals that are even more understood by the waters, but the company has now moved to clarify Breath of the Wild’s Switch 2 does not come with its previously released paid DLC.

“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition does not include the Zelda legend: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass DLC,” the company wrote in a statement to IGN. “That DLC is available as a separate purchase.” As such, anyone looking for the complete breath of the wild experience in Switch 2 will need to reserve only less than £ 85 depending on Nintendo prices.

That sounds like much for an eight -year game and its DLC, but it is far from the only price that has raised its eyebrows after the revelation of Switch 2. The cost of the console itself has received a great recoil from fans, and that was before the potential impact of US tariff USD for the Switch 2 Whic 2 Welcome 2 Welcome Tourial game. The console seems promising and its two flagship games have received many praise after an early practical time, but it is clear that Nintendo has work to do to shake the persistent controversy around Switch 2.
