Nick Sirianni is making a case for the best chief coach in the history of Eagles with the second appearance in the Super Bowl

Philadelphia – There is no chief coach in the history of Filadelphia Eagles who had the cultural impact of Andy Reid or the ability to bring home a title like Doug Pederson. Nor has there been a motivator like Dick Vermeil.

Nick Sirianni can be a combination of the three, part of the reason why their charm is only attractive to the Eagles costumes and few outside it.

The culture that Sirianni has installed in the Eagles organization is a turn of the foundation that Reid installed and Pederson continued. Sirianni gave his own turn to how to build a winning soccer team and continue, using the Vermeil motivating approach for his players to buy.

Even Vermeil had a useful life in Philadelphia, as his message became obsolete and the culture of the Eagles eradicated. The same with Pederson, who really brought a championship to Philadelphia and could not replicate that success.

The only coach near the Eagles back to the Super Bowl was Reid, and even half of his mandate in Philadelphia was not as successful as the first six years (four consecutive conference championship games and an appearance in the Super Bowl ).

Sirianni found a way to break the ice that defrosted the chief coaches of the Eagles in the era of the Super Bowl. He is the first chief coach in the history of the franchise in bringing two Super Bowls, the first chief coach from Greasy Neale (1947-1949) to train in two league championship games.

The Eagles have only five appearances in the Super Bowl in their history, and two have arrived in the last three years with Sirianni. Sirianni has not only led Eagles to the Super Bowl twice, but has achieved that feat in just four seasons. Only Joe Gibbs and Mike Tomlin have reached that brand in the history of the NFL (and both have won one of the two Super Bowls in which they were).

Sirianni has a 48-20 record after four seasons, a surprising percentage of .706 victories. Only George Seifert has more victories (52) after his first four seasons that Sirianni, and both are the only two coaches that take a team to multiple more than 14 seasons victories twice in their first four seasons.

Sirianni’s percentage of .706 is the fifth highest in the history of the NFL (minimum 50 games). Only Guy Chamberlain (.784), John Madden (.759), Vince Lombardi (.738) and George Allen (.712) are higher. Sirianni would take third place among chief coaches in the era of the Super Bowl (Madden and Chamberlain).

While Sirianni as a way to go before obtaining his status as a coach of Cabra de los Eagles, his history speaks for himself. Sirianni has been in more super bowls in Philadelphia than Andy Reid and as many as Reid and Pederson were combined. He has the largest number of seasons of more than 14 victories in the history of the franchise and is the first chief coach in the history of the franchise to take a team from the Commodines Round to the Super Bowl.

Sirianni is another victory of the conversation that becomes more serious with respect to its legacy. Not only with the Eagles, but also in the history of the NFL.
