No one ever questioned Mahomes’ status as an elite NFL quarterback, but two months into the season, he was QB22 overall and in points per game in fantasy football through the first seven weeks of the season. Aside from the appeal of his name, there was little reason to use Mahomes in NFL DFS lineups. But Mahomes is QB4 overall and QB8 in terms of points per game since Week 8 and his fantasy production matches his overall greatness and effectiveness on the field.
Mahomes has thrown for over 260 yards in four of his last five games with 12 touchdowns compared to three interceptions in that span. He threw for three touchdowns in three of those games and last week, Mahomes rushed for a season-high 60 yards to increase his NFL DFS total. The two-time NFL MVP and three-time Super Bowl MVP threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in Kansas City’s first meeting with the Raiders this season and is averaging 293.4 passing yards per game since the 2020 season against the Raiders, making it a must to add even to your price for Black Friday NFL DFS lineups.
