Tyler Warren de Penn State, Colston Loveland of Michigan and Elijah Arroyo de Miami did not participate in the wing exercises closed in Friday’s field. His absence was an opportunity for others, namely, Mason Taylor, who is the son of the NFL Jason Taylor legend, to steal the show.
These are some of the winners and losers of the exercises in the Friday field in Indianapolis, starting with a look at the measures of the perspectives in The 50 best CBS Sports consensus classifications.

Qualification of the best qualified
The projection of Harold Fannin’s draft is based on athletics, so hope was better in Indianapolis. He had some problems, particularly in the sled drill, but also had some good times.
Gunnar Helm’s first career attempt (4.93 seconds) was disappointing, but that improved in almost a tenth of the second. The rest of his performance was solid.
Mason Taylor did not do any of the athletic tests, but his performance work was fantastic. He looked into control and showed soft but strong hands through a variety of drills. His sled work was more than enough.
Terrance Ferguson had an impressive length when measured, and its athletic tests also appeared. When he went to the field, Ferguson continued to look fluid through drills.
Ondere Gadsden II is a closed wing that catches the pass in the first place, but was not ashamed in the sled drill. When the lights lit for passes capture exercises, he showed his comfort working between the cones and track the ball in the field.
Other winners
Thomas Fidone II, Nebraska
Fidone is one of the first participants in the draft, but it is certainly prepared. It is a massive human being. His complete performance in the field was only surpassed by his athletic tests.
Joshua Simon, South Carolina
Simon had a monstrous wingspan and then executed one of the best sports performances. His movement through drills was incredibly soft and the ball stayed in his hands.
Other losers
Luke Lachey, Iowa
Lachey did well in the jump of the night. He had a few drops through passes capture exercises and certainly seems the part of a closed wing of the NFL.
Elijah Arroyo, Miami
Arroyo chose to sit down the sports tests and the exercises in the field. His absence opened the door to Mason Taylor, Terrance Ferguson and others to close the gap.
