Naughty Dog Apologizes to The Last of Us PC Players and Promises a Fix

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 1 was released on Steam in February 2022, but the game’s user rating is currently sitting at Mixed. Many users have left negative reviews on the platform, complaining about issues like stuttering, crashes, and bugs.

Naughty Dog, prestige third-person narrative game developer, has issued an apology to The Last of Us Part 1 players on PC. The game’s Steam user rating is currently Mixed, only 43% of user reviews giving it a thumbs up. Negative reviews cite issues like stuttering, crashes, and bugs. Naughty Dog promises a hotfix to resolve these issues on Tuesday, followed by a larger patch later in the week.

Naughty Dog’s Twitter thread addressed The Last of Us Part 1 PC players and apologized for their experience. The creators acknowledged that the game’s caliber might not have lived up to all players’ standards.Team is working hard to find solutions to the issues that prevented some players from fully enjoying the game.

A hotfix addressing jittering on mouse-controlled camera movement, some crashes, and more for The Last of Us Part I on PC is slated for Tuesday.

On Tuesday, a hotfix for The Last of Us Part 1 on PC will be released. The patch will address jittering on mouse-controlled camera movement, some crashes, and other issues. Players are recommended to use most recent Nvidia, AMD, and Intel graphics drivers.
