Capcom will address an error by Monster Hunter Wilds in an update of title scheduled for its launch this Tuesday.
The error in question, which can make progress impossible forward in history, focuses on a vital NPC that does not appear where they are supposed to do so in several cases.
“A patch that addresses known progression blockers will be deployed tomorrow morning,” Capcom said Monday.
On March 4 it will be launched on all platforms at 12 AM PT / 3AM ET / 8AM GMT, “with solutions for problems with the ingredient center, the progression of food and history in chapter 5-2 ‘A world overturned'”.
Capcom said previously that he was aware that a problem prevented some players from unlocking the characteristics of the grill and the ingredient center, despite having fulfilled the progress criteria after the launch of the game last Friday for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Once the update is published, any online session will be suspended and the players must download it to continue playing online, added Capcom.
Monster Hunter Wilds has been well received by critics, winning 90 (console) and 88 (PC) scores at the Metacritic Review aggregation site. The Monster Hunder Wilds five -star review of VGC described it as “a Victoria Victoria for the Golden Age of Capcom.”
The game also seems to be selling strongly, according to the first data on the PC. During the weekend, he became the eighth title in Steam’s history to overcome one million concurrent players. Its 1,384,608 concurrent players is the fifth highest in Steam’s history, improving characters such as Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077 and Dota 2.
Capcom has confirmed that one of the key producers responsible for the Monster Hunter series, Ryozo Tsujimoto, is being promoted to supervise all the company’s development divisions from April.
