With the MLS Cup Playoffs in full swing, the finalists for the end-of-season awards have been announced. They were progressive in a vote alongside MLS players, the employee group and media contributors, with the three teams representing 33.3% of the overall vote. Inter Miami is clearly represented among the finalists with a league-high six players, which is the closest to a single-season record for unused numbers.

In his first full season in the league, Lionel Messi will look for his first MVP, but he will face his teammate Luis Suárez for dignity. The Columbus team is right behind the Herons with five finalists and LAFC has three. As awards are announced, this story will be updated accordingly with the winners.
