With only one day to the end until Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was pressed from PCystation to PC, Sony has shared details about its improved characteristics by PC, as well as the hardware required to execute it.
Digital Foundry called Marvel’s Spider -Man 2 to “New Showcase” for visual details and lightning layouts when it was launched for PS5 in 2023, and the new PC version of Sony, cover by the nixxes owned by Sony, is looking to build that with a range of additions focused on the platform.
In the launch of the Spider-Man 2 PC, for example, highlights Sony, “new ray tracking options with individual quality configurations for Fineune Performance and Fidelity in a wide range of hardware configurations.” There is also talk of options for traced interiors, shadows and environmental occlusion, adding what Sony calls “an additional layer of credibility with realistic shadows and greater depth to the game.
Players with hardware robust enough can also take advantage of the configuration of ray geometry details, allowing higher quality meshes for ray traffic, and there is a sliding control of object rank, which allows the Users manually adjust the range in which objects are considered for rays. There is also support for the reconstruction DLSS Ray de Nvidia, together with DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1 for the generation of scale and the frames. And the PC players who like their monitors also obtain ultra wide support, in proportions that include 21: 9, 32: 9 and 48: 9.
Sony has also published the requirements of the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 system, with its minimum specification addressed to 720p at 30 fps with very low settings. Those with considerably more powerful hardware (that is, an RTX 4090 and I9-12900K/Ryzen 7 7800x3D) can point to 60 fps to 4K resolutions, using very high ray tracking configurations.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is launched for PC through Steam and Epic on January 30, and we recently knew that it will not require a PSN account to play after everything. The complete PC SECs are below.
