Manchester United have announced the appointment of Rubén Amorim, the Portuguese’s outgoing coach who signs a contract until at least 2027 at Worn Trafford.
Amorim will switch to United from November 11. As CBS Sports reported on Thursday, The 39-year-old has vowed to detect three more attacks with Carrying. That means his first game in charge of United will be on November 24, when his team travel to Portman Street to take on Ipswich City.
United has agreed to pay Amorim’s $10.9 million suspension clause along with an additional $1.1 million to facilitate a process before his 30-step period concludes. Amorim is expected to be joined by five members of his training team at Carrying, although this has not been demonstrated by United, who also presented additional negative clarity on Ruud van Nistelrooy’s situation.

The Dutchman will take charge of United’s additional matches before the world split (home to Chelsea, PAOK and Leicester Town), but with Amorim expected to include three first-team coaches among his squad, it is clear how most of the holders, however, will be necessary.
Significantly, Amorim becomes Manchester United’s first head coach, with all of his predecessors having been appointed managers. This type of project name swapping reflects the impeccable structure put in place at the club under majority owner INEOS, who have spent much of this year adding elegantly presented names to their executive team, including executive leader Omar Berrada, along with director Dan. Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox. The last two names in particular will be in charge of recruiting for United; Amorim is not expected to have the transfer veto of his predecessor Erik ten Hag.
“Ruben is one of the most interesting and highly rated young coaches in European football,” the United announcement said. “Highly decorated as a player and coach, his titles include winning the Primeira Liga twice in Portugal with Sporting CP – the first of which was the club’s first title in 19 years.”
Amorim himself has promised to speak more about his time than Friday night’s game against Estrela Amadora, but has revealed his delight at the anticipation of taking the helm at Worn Trafford. When asked in a pre-match press conference what he preferred about the Premier League, his answer was succinct. “All.”
Amorim will become Manchester United’s sixth permanent manager since Sir Alex Ferguson resigned in 2013. Three of that team have won titles (Ten Hag had lifted an EFL Cup and an FA Cup before his sacking on Monday), but none has fulfilled it. the name of the Premier League that United came to call their own thanks to Ferguson.
