Washington – Kyle Kuzma’s return to Washington led to a confusing moment with a former teammates.

Kuzma returned to Washington as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks and scored 19 points in his 104-101 victory over Sarr, Coulibaly and the Wizards on Friday night. Kuzma was changed from Washington to Milwaukee earlier this month, with Khris Middleton going to the Wizards in the agreement.
Middleton lost a triple of the last second that would have tied the score in his Wizards debut.
“They definitely happen a lot in these last two weeks,” said Middleton. “It is a bit strange and coincident how this is my first game here with the Wizards, against the Bucks.”
Kuzma’s departure from Washington was so recent that he said that the return this week gave him the opportunity to sleep in his own bed. He spent 3½ seasons with the Wizards and looked at his mandate with them.
“I would not change this experience and be here and being a magician for anything,” Kuzma said. “I think it was a great moment for me, a moment of growth, a time to find out who I am as a person.”
Even so, with Washington in the midst of substantial reconstruction, it was not a shock that was exchanged, and was ready.
“I think the writing was on the wall in a certain sense here. Not saying that it was something good or bad. I think everything in life really has an expiration date,” Kuzma said. “It was my time to go, beneficial for all parties involved.”
Kuzma has not been with Milwaukee for a long time, but the Bucks already need to act. Bobby Portis Jr. is not available due to a drug suspension, and Damian Lillard (hamstrings) was lost Friday’s game. Giannis Antetokounmpo was in trouble at all times and committed a foul after playing only 19 minutes.
“It was a strange game,” Kuzma said. “I don’t think I have seen Giannis have six fouls in 18 minutes. I don’t know what it was. Obviously, we are going down the bodies.”
