FIFA has announced a partnership with Konami to continue its FIFAe International Cup esports tournament, using the author’s free-to-play game name, eFootball.
The football association previously organized this festival in collaboration with Digital Arts, but this partnership came to an end when the couple breaks up in 2022 for the next 29 years.
Konami’s offering will begin with two FIFAe International Cup tournaments within eFootball closer to this date, one on mobile and the other on console. Qualifying matches begin today and a champion will be named at the end of each match.
For this first date of the intact festival, 18 countries were invited to participate in the final events, including Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, England, France, Republic of India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Morocco, Countries Bass. , Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand and Türkiye.
eFootball is the alternative to Konami’s Professional Evolution Football line, which has been up and running for about 3 days. Since going free in 2019, the sport has reached 700 million downloads worldwide.
