Konami has been associated with the Bloober team of Silent Hill 2’s remake developer for “a joint project.”
In a statement, none of the parties clarified the details of the project, but confirmed that it was a game based on Konami’s intellectual property, and Konami will retain their editor rights.
Bloober’s “horror and atmospheric narration” made him an appropriate collaborator when Konami looked for a partner to “give a new life to one of her most iconic franchises: Silent Hill”, with the “confidence based on Silent Hill 2’s success.[ying] The basis for signing another agreement for a new project. “
Bloober said the agreement also aligns with its strategic plan to expand its “development division within a third parties frame.”

“By sharing knowledge and experience, we have been able to create a high quality production together. Of course, we cannot reveal too many details at this time, but we are sure that fans will be as excited about our collaboration as we are. At the end of January, Konami confirmed Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill’s first play since the 2012 downpour, exceeded 2 million sales.
Konami recently launched its financial results during the nine months that ended on December 31, 2024, during which income increased by 22% and profits increased by 38%.
