Sony has revealed the monthly PlayStation Plus games for January, including one of last year’s biggest releases.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will be available starting January 7 for PlayStation Plus members.
Developed by Rocksteady and published by Warner Bros Interactive, Suicide Squad was at one time one of the most anticipated games, but a lengthy development cycle and backlash to its live service elements contributed to the game‘s critical and commercial problems. .
The game was released last February to mixed critical reception and turned out to be a commercial failure, with publisher Warner suffering a $200 million loss on the game. Last month, Rocksteady confirmed that it would be ending support for the title.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered was released in 2020 and is an updated version of the popular 2010 racing game from EA’s Criterion studio.
Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is an expanded version of the critically acclaimed indie game first released in 2013.
December’s monthly PlayStation Plus games, which are available until January 6, include It Takes Two (PS4, PS5), Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5), and Temtem (PS5).
