Nintendo Switch 2 admits the DLSS scale technology of Nvidia, the company has finally confirmed.
The next -generation Nintendo console is expected to be for a long time that supports the popular characteristic, used by AI for exclusive games for a higher resolution without a significant performance penalty, and NVIDIA confirmed the support on Thursday, although it was not mentioned in Big Switch 2 Direct this week.
Switch 2 works with a personalized NVIDIA processor and a NVIDIA GPU with dedicated RT nuclei and tensioner nuclei.
“The new RT nuclei bring ray tracking in real time, which offer realistic lighting, reflections and shadows for more immersive worlds,” said Nvidia.
“Characteristics promoted by the AI of the tensor nuclei such as deep learning Super Sampling (DLSS), which increases the resolution of more crisp without sacrificing the quality of the image.
“The tensioner nuclei also allow the monitoring of the face with AI and the background elimination in cases of use of video chat, improving social games and transmission.”
Switch 2 will be released worldwide on Thursday, June 5.
