Uh oh, it looks like The Witcher season 4 could have a lot more unused faces, because the actor behind Vesemir has also reportedly been changed.
We’ve known for quite some time (two years actually) that once The Witcher season 4 starts probably someday after month, it won’t be Henry Cavill playing the one and only Geralt of Rivia, but rather Liam Hemsworth. It was a decision that wasn’t exactly a good one for lovers, as many like Cavill’s performance as the titular witcher, but hello, what can you do? Most of the segment since subsequent casting appears to have remained the same, with some unused abilities joining as unused characters for the next season, but according to Redanian Understanding, there is another character that has been recast: Geralt’s schoolteacher. , Vesemir.
The opening reports that Vesemir will return as a character for season 4, but the actor who played him in the past, Kim Bodnia, will not be returning to play him. It’s unclear why this recast has taken off, and it obviously hasn’t been officially announced yet – Redanian Intelligence also doesn’t know who will take on the role, so I guess we’ll all have to stay tuned for a confirmation from Netflix. / a teaser to reveal who it could be.
In the future, The Witcher 4’s cast and release day scenario could be up in the wind, it won’t be long until you can see Geralt again. An unused clip from the animated film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep was released last year, and with that came confirmation of an extension, but also of a special release day, February 11, 2025. It’s a good one thing that is yet to come. so quickly too, as who knows when The Witcher 4 might appear (tracking: it’s almost certainly a moment away).
