Third quarter report
The 76ers are on the road but they don’t look any worse. They have jumped out to a 100-95 lead against the Bulls.
If the 76ers keep playing like this, they will increase their record to 7-15 in no time. On the other hand, the Bulls will have to settle for a 10-15 record unless things change (and quickly).

What to know
The Chicago Bulls will face the Philadelphia 76ers at 1:00 pm ET on Sunday at the United Center. The Bulls are the slight favorite, but fans should be treated to an exciting game that will likely go down to the wire.
The Bulls head into Sunday’s matchup having surpassed an impressive 248 over/under points from bettors set for their last game against the Pacers. The Bulls suffered a 132-123 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacers on Friday.
Despite their loss, the Bulls saw several players rise to the challenge and make notable plays. Zach LaVine, who scored 32 points, was perhaps the best of all. LaVine’s performance made up for a slower game against the Spurs on Thursday. Josh Giddey, on the other hand, was considerably less useful, scoring 0-6 from long range.
Even though they lost, the Bulls worked as a unit and finished the game with 33 assists (ranked fourth in assists per game overall). That good performance was nothing new for the team: they have already accumulated at least 25 assists in 18 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, the 76ers beat the Magic 102-94 on Friday.
Chicago’s loss dropped their record to 10-14. As for Philadelphia, their victory ended a three-game home drought and moved them to 6-15.
Keep an eye on the goal in Sunday’s matchup: the Bulls have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 38.6% of their three-pointers per game. It’s a different story for the 76ers, however, as they have only made 32.4% of their three-pointers this season. Given the Bulls’ considerable advantage in that area, the 76ers will need to find a way to close that gap.
The Bulls opened the new year with an unsuccessful 110-97 loss to the 76ers. Will the Bulls have better luck at home than on the road?
