Yes, you read the headline, this is serious business. Someone claims to have posted on Reddit some footage taken in a Rockstar office of GTA 6 playing on a monitor, and it could have shown us what the developer’s containers looked like in 2021. That’s assuming it’s actually genuine, of course.
The supposedly leaked photo is the latest to send Rockstar’s hardcore community into overdrive, after many of them spent the end of last month getting super excited about moons, playlists, and the number 27.

As discovered by Eurogamer, the leak was first posted on the GTA 6 subreddit by a user with the handle JustLovett0. The post, titled “a photo from mid-2021. I think it’s been enough time to post this,” has since been blocked and deleted, but was subsequently uploaded to many other places.
“Someone close to me took it when he worked in the Rockstar office for a few months,” the poster stated, adding that said mystery person is “super far away from Rockstar now.” So what do these snapshots that they’ve apparently risked a lot to show the world about GTA 6 reveal, assuming they’re real?
Well, practically nothing about GTA 6, since all we have is a supposed shot playing on a monitor that only shows Lucia standing next to a wall, some blue containers, and some palm trees. Standing near some things potentially confirmed as a GTA 6 feature, not everyone applauds at once.
Other than that, unless you’re interested in doing some detective work to try to figure out if this is potentially a shot of the interior of Rockstar’s San Diego office, as the building’s design seems to suggest, or looking at some dev kits . , you’re out of luck.
Wait a minute, how could we forget the most important detail! Look at that container under the desk. You’ve never seen a more evenly applied cleaner or coating in your life, and there’s no sign of gunk buildup in the can. Even taking into account that it’s potentially trash day in the photo, meaning the trash may have been recently emptied, it’s wonderfully clever. Black trash can, white lining, properly formal. A bin that you wouldn’t mind assigning a seat to at one of the main tables at your wedding.
