First Play: Watch us play Spilled, a brief but charming oil clean-up game

In our last first reproduction video, we face the spill focused on the environment, which is launched on PC this week.

Spilled is a cozy independent game in which the player takes control of a boat, since he explores an aqueous region that has been contaminated by the oil left by a great oil tanker.

It depends on the player to clean the entire oil, as well as any other waste as bottles and barrels of oil found in the water, and take it to a recycling spring for money.

This money can be spent on improving the speed and capacity of oil storage of the boat, as well as the size of its oil ball. After improving the boat and cleaning the water, the player faces the oil tanker.

There are two versions of our first reproduction video: a standard version of YouTube (which can be seen at the top of this article or on our YouTube channel), and one for our Patreon subscribers.

The standard YouTube version lasts 16 minutes and shows us that we face the mechanics of the game and its update system. Patreon subscribers at any paid level can get access to a longer version of 33 minutes without video advertising, in which we unlock additional skills for our ship and find a new bioma.

Spilled was developed by Lens, a developer based in the Netherlands who made the game while living in his boat. It was started successfully last year and will be launched on PC on March 26. The game can be found in Steam, where it also has a demonstration.
